In this project Paulo Rodrigues discusses how pension funds optimize the ideal investment mix for managing the risks while yielding sufficient returns for their participants. This includes the delicate balance between the stable predictability of fixed income that offers comfort and taking on sufficient levels of prudent risk exposure to aggregate sufficient return over time to payout future pension obligations. In his research, Paulo searches for the best way to translate the needs of all pension fund members into one pension fund investment strategy.
