Welcome to our work on Climate Finance & Adaptation

 

Climate Risk requires a lot of adaptation, also in our financial thinking. At our institute we work on various projects that show how climate risks affect asset values and returns, and how households and investors ought to adapt to these changes. Dr. Juan Palacio explains how our research in this regard looks like.

In our climate finance teaching, we work together with our partners from ABP, Blackrock and Edge.

    Flood risks

    In this project Philibert Weenink studies how flood risks are capitalized into local house prices. Making good use of rich micro data he shows how regional floods of the past seep into the transaction prices of tomorrow.
