Welcome to our work on Household Finance & Adaptation

Household Finance is a young branch within the finance domain and deals with how households handle and organize their financial matters.

A topic that is swiftly gaining importance because societal changes require households to take a more active approach regarding their long term financial needs including housing, mortgages, retirement and inheritance. Prof.dr. Dirk Brounen explains why and how he and his colleagues work on these topics as part of the institute.

The work on household finance we do this with our partners of the Ministry of Housing, the National Mortgage Guarantee (NHG), the BPD Housingfund, Obvion, ING Real Estate Finance, the Homeowner Association (VEH), and with Daelmans Vastgoed.

Because adaptation requires collaboration!
